Founded in Paris in 2004, Arcanes is one of the leading firms in the field of restoration, having worked on artworks from Leonardo da Vinci, Giambattista Tiepolo and many others.
The identity plays around the meaning of the word Arcanes (from French, secret, hidden). It combines the letters that compose the logo, stripped to their bare essentials, with symbols representing the fields in which the firm operates.
An additional crest was created to be used as a sigil.
In application the logo is hidden inside an appearently unintelligible grid, and later revealed through animations.
